Natural disaster has left many amazing villages in the Himalyian Mountains cut off from their major source of income, tourism, stimulating a stagnant ecconomy is so important now. The money they earn from selling a blanket provides them the opportunity to puchase a cow, goat, crops, shelter, schooling, and so much more. These villages are located high in the spectacular Himalyan Mountains in elevations as high as 16,000+ ft.

NEPAL EARTHQUAKE RECOVERY PROJECT: Rebuilding Junbesi’s High School - A chance to leave your legacy in the Himalayan Mountains for generations to come.
The proceeds from your purchase will be going towards the children and schools in the Himalayan Mountains. We are working with Junbesi School Trust to rebuild one of many schools destroyed by the earthquake of April 25th 2015.
In July 2015 I brought back a limited 350 blankets to sell (see shopping in Katmandu photo above). We hope to raise $8,000 to contribute to the school and a few remote villages.
